4. Lack of knowledge – Would you be a successful plumber without knowing anything about plumbing? No. Then to be a successful internet marketer you need to learn internet marketing. Find a successful mentor willing to help you and you will be way ahead of the crowd.

5. Not investing in your business – You won’t get any support or very much web traffic on with a free web host. Many times, the best ebooks, scripts, and tools are the ones that cost money. You can run an online business for next to nothing but
you’ll achieve faster and more profitable results by investing in the right tools.

6. “If I build it, they will come” – You can have the most comprehensive and informative website on natural healing in the world but if you don’t promote your site and work to drive traffic to it no one will know about it. There are many ways to drive traffic to your website. You should be using several of them.

7. Lack of patience – You will not be making $10,000 a month when you start. Internet marketing is not a get rich quick scheme. It takes time and testing to build your web traffic and increase your conversion rate. In the beginning you might actually lose money and this is when too many people give up without giving their business time to grow.

8. Wrong niche – So you wrote that ebook on underwater basket weaving and you’re wondering why nobody is buying it? Find a niche but make sure it’s profitable first. Too many times people create the product first then try to figure out how to sell it. Find out what the people want then give or sell it to them.

9. No Uniqueness – There are a million low carb diet books out there, what makes yours so unique? Why should I buy your widget when Bob’s widgets are just as good and he’s been selling widgets a lot longer than you? Stand out from the crowd and get noticed. Know your competition and do what they do better or do something totally different.

10. Lack of commitment – To be successful, you must be committed to success. Behind every success story there are many hours of work and dedication. You’ll need drive and determination if you want to be the next internet success story everyone is talking about.

The last 10 years we have been overwhelmed by the get-rich-quick schemes on the Internet. The variety is huge but they do have some common principles. They promise you less or no effort and spend nothing and gain gazillion dollars in a month. Make me laugh!

Myth 1: Buy this “Super Magic” software and you will become an Internet millionaire overnight.

Although there are great software titles out there that can automate your business, there is no such a thing like Magic software that does everything. You can find software saving you time or even money but you will never find software doing everything.

Myth 2: I make 35.000$ per month!

It’s true, people who make that income exist and maybe more today than ever. But what they don’t tell you is how much they spend in order to make those amounts of money. Don’t believe anyone of them, promise you that by spending 10$ you will achieve those numbers. A good example is Google Adwords.

You see those sales letters and the photos with proof of making 600$ per day? Did they also show you the advertising costs? Sure, spending 1000$ per day on Adwords, with careful planning, can make 1600 per day. The tiny detail is this: can you afford spending 1000$ per day (30.000$ per month)?

Myth 3: Become Rich with other people’s efforts.

This refers to MLM and similar techniques. You shouldn’t contemn multilevel marketing completely. There are serious MLM companies that have been expanded on that way. Some universities also teach MLM. But when someone promises the earth by making downlines only and not focusing on the products and how to market them, stay away.

Do you honestly believe that you will find 3 business partners becoming your downline and each one of them will bring a thousand referrals with you doing nothing? It will Not Happen.

Myth 4: Work only 10 minutes per day!

I wish this could be real. We should believe in the saying “work smarter not harder” but there is huge misunderstanding on that. Even the most successful online entrepreneurs , before they reach the ideal lifestyle working few hours per day, they came across the path of working endless hours , spending & loosing money , testing & retesting , failing . There is no shortcut to this. PERIOD.

Myth 5: I make 50.000$ per month. Buy my 19.95$ “Super Magic Secret E-book”

Isn’t that obvious? Doesn’t it ring the bell? If you had that “50.000$ Super Secret” would you share it with the whole internet world and actually charge it so cheap? Get Real. It’s 100% certain that you will find the same recycled information with other 500 similar resources.

Myth 6: Buy 5.000.000 email addresses CD. Only 99$!

Be Careful. This is SPAM. Have no doubt about it. Don’t even think of purchasing this. Those emails have been extracted without the email owners consent. You will not make a dime and you will loose your website & internet connection and maybe more with the new strict antispam laws.

Myth 7: Sign to 50 Auto Hits Generation websites and Get 20.000 visitors per day.

There is another saying for that: “Garbage in – Garbage out”. Think for a while, if you are using this web traffic generation method what stops other webmasters do the same? You will not watch at the sites automatically reloaded and obviously you will be doing something else during that time.

So, you think you are the only one who thought about that? No you are not!

There is one way i have found to make a good living online and its  Hard Work,  Education, dedication and being focused on the things you want to achieve….Works every time!

Starting an internet business is in my opinion, one of the fastest and smartest ways women today can make money. Here are 10 reasons for starting an internet business, and one reason why you shouldn’t!

1. Money. Pure and simple, we all could use a more of it. Whether it’s to get out of debt, build a retirement, or just simply make ends meet. With the right guidance, an internet business can start generating income almost immediately.

2. Family. Let’s face it Moms, a lot of you want to be home with your kids. A work at home job is great for just that reason…unless you have to leave home for appointments, parties, or sales calls. Then you’re right back to babysitters and being away from your kids. An internet business truly lets you run it from home.

3. Self Esteem. Many of us are so busy being Moms, and wives, and community members, we forget to forge something in our lives that reflects our inner selves. Starting (and becoming successful) in your own business can boost your feelings of self worth, and that makes everyone in your life a winner!

4. Community. Our communities that we live in are better off for us having started businesses. It provides good role modeling for our children, provides tax base for necessary programs such as police and fire, and a community where people exhibit pride and hard work is a better place to live for us all. 10. You can sell your business later on down the line…it’s an investment! Build it large enough and successful enough, and many website owners have sold their sites for hundreds of thousands of dollars…and started out knowing very little about building an internet business.

One reason NOT to start an internet business…

DO NOT start a business to please anyone else. There is so much pressure on women today to do it all….many times we feel we are not successful unless we make a lot of money, are perfect moms, never gain a pound…you get the idea. Start a business for you, and your dreams, not to convince the world, or the mother in law, or your next door neighbor…that you can do it all. Running a business is not for everyone, but if you want to follow your dreams, work at home, and make a good income, starting an internet business is a great place to start.
